DataLinq™ is a powerful tool with several ways to integrate data sets and present them as real-time motion graphics. Using tools like RelID and SQL Queries to pull specific data and populate Take IDs with content has made DataLinq™ a very flexible tool. To make it even accessible, users can now use Text Objects in their Take IDs to select which record is shown inside the graphic. Marking the Text Object as a Macro capitalizes on a very simple way to select which record is retrieved an shows immediate results in the preview in the XPression Sequencer and even the XPression MOS Client. Now you can improve that data feed by adding additional characters to the beginning or ending of the data stream. Add degree symbols, stat category headers, or any other prefix or appended text, from inside the Datalinq user interface. No need to create and hide text objects and use Visual Logic or scripting to concatenate text strings anymore.

We all maintain folders of important files. Folders full of logos, headshots, color backgrounds, etc. Imagine if there was a way to use them with XPression to update a volatile texture or material surface using just input text on a template?
Well, dream no more. Use input fields to choose team tricodes to select logos, headshots, background elements and more using paths to files you build in real-time. Change one input field and change the team. This is for operators & MOS users. Very powerful stuff.
